Festivalpraktikum bei der 76. Berlinale (w/m/d/k)

an.

Die Praktika eignen sich als ausbildungs- bzw. studienbegleitendes Praktikum oder als Praktikum zur Orientierung für eine erste Berufsausbildung oder für die Aufnahme eines Studiums.

Bewerber*innen aus Nicht-EU Staaten benötigen eine gültige Arbeitsgenehmigung.

Das Praktikum bietet die Möglichkeit, einen Blick hinter die Kulissen des weltgrößten Publikumsfestivals zu werfen, und vertiefte Einblicke in einen der Festivalbereiche, zum Beispiel den European Film Market, den Co-Production Market oder Berlinale Talents zu erhalten; durch die Mitarbeit bei der Akkreditierung, der Gästebetreuung der Sektionen, oder in der Kinobetreuung. Auch wird eine Reihe ausführlicher Informationen zu Fakten, Zahlen, Organisation und Arbeitsweise der Berlinale vermittelt.

Unsere Anforderungen - Das bringen Sie mit.

• Mindestalter 18 Jahre
• Aktuelle Immatrikulation oder Nachweis über aktuelle Ausbildung für das Wintersemester 2025-2026
• Bewerbende vor Beginn einer ersten Ausbildung/Studium: Schulabschlusszeugnis
• Für Bewerber aus Nicht-EU Staaten benötigen wir bei der Bewerbung eine gültige Arbeitsgenehmigung.
• Begeisterung für die Berlinale
• Uneingeschränkte zeitliche Verfügbarkeit während der 14 Tage des Praktikums an allen Wochentagen – Sperrtermine bitte in der Bewerbung erwähnen
• Bereitschaft zur Arbeit am Wochenende und in den Abendstunden
• Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse mindestens auf dem Level B2 gem. GER; weitere Sprachen sind von Vorteil

• Darüber hinaus bieten wir eine Praktikumsvergütung von insgesamt € 278,00 brutto bei einer wöchentlichen Praktikumszeit von 39 Stunden.

The International Film Festival Berlin (IFB) is the city's most important cultural event, one of the most prestigious occasions in the international film industry, and simultaneously the world's largest audience festival.

The Berlinale is offering

Festival Internships at the 76th Berlinale

from February 9th until February 23rd, 2026

The internship is for trainees and students of all faculties wishing to undertake a short internship to accompany their studies or training (no leave of absence, no graduates) or to those who wish to do an orientation internship at Berlinale 2026 before commencing a first training or studies.

Please note that all non-EU citizens require a temporary work permit (visa) for the internship. These are only issued to students registered with a non-German higher education institution.

Your responsibilities and tasks

The internship offers the possibility to catch a glimpse behind the scenes of one of the largest public film festivals in the world. Within the two weeks interns are able to get an insight into different festival sections, for instance the European Film Market or Berlinale Talents by working with accreditation, guest services or as part of the team in our cinemas. A range of detailed information on facts, figures, organization and working methods of the Berlinale will also be provided.

 
Our requirements – This is what you bring with you.

• Minimum age 18 years
• Current student or trainee status document for Winter Semester 2025-2026 (no graduates, no leave of absence)
• For an orientation internship between graduation from school and first studies: school diploma
• For non-EU applicants: please add a temporary work permit document (Visa) in your application
• Being passionate about Berlinale
• Availability during the 14 days on all seven weekdays, also on evenings and weekends – please mention any time restrictions in your application
• Willingness to work weekends and/or evenings
• Have a good knowledge of German and English in Level B2 (further language skills are considered a plus)
